Budget 2016

This year budget is having another hiccup because president Buhari is apprehensive of unseen obstacles this suspicious national Assembly might have planted therein.

2016 budget proposal

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has refused to sign the 2016 Appropriation Bill into law.

The budget was apparently transmitted to him on Tuesday by the National Assembly but the president turned down the request to append his signature to the document because it was found out to be mere highlights rather than the entire document.

Both houses of the National Assembly finally passed the N6.06trillion budget last week but it was not clear whether the conference committee of the two chambers of the legislature had harmonized it.

The National Assembly either did not complete work on the budget or are playing politics with the documents which affects the life of both the country and its citizens.

The National Assembly only sent in the highlights without the details of the budget."

the President has not signed the Bill because he does not know what is contained in the details and what adjustments the National Assembly must have made to the proposal sent to them.

Asiwaju @64

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the father of modern Nigeria politics, common sense revolution is 64 today how time flies on behalf of all students of democracy I wish you all the very best of the of the day

V.P Osinbajo, President Buhari and Asiwaju Tinubu

Using senator Ojudu descriptions to eulogized the great icon of our time by his write up ...
Secrets of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's success @ 64
 28 March 2016

A man of intense passion
In the words of Senator Ojudu ‘the number one secret of Asiwaju’s success is an undying passion FOR whatever he finds his hands to do.

‘From the word "go," he has developed and applied the Biblical law to his life, which says:  "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men" (Prov. 22:29).

Asiwaju sees passion as a bigger word for diligence and anything he does all his life, he has applied massive passion to it and has won big. That is why he has always been a man of First. He rose from the canvass to be the top man in TEXACO. When he eventually quit to play politics, he used the word "passion" to emerge as one of the earliest NADECO leaders and later Governor of Lagos State It was that same passion that  led him to be one of the early men to turn LAGOS into a now cosmopolitan city. Asiwaju would always tell us that nothing can beat the passion you have for your work

A most humane man
Senator Ojudu passionately explained why Asiwaju now sits comfortably on top of the Nigerian political terrain as the APC National leader
‘’He, Asiwaju believes in the principle that it is not vital for the left hand to always know what the  right hands does, and I can tell you that long before he became the Governor of Lagos, he has been touching the lives of many countless people. Even as a kid growing up, whenever his mother gives him money he would share it among his mates that were not privileged to have. That was his reputation as a youth. He would even share his food and otber items.
‘’As the boss at TEXACO, the welfare of all and sundry was his hallmark. The whites talk of his large heart, the blacks also do. It is no surprise then when he decided to go into active politics, all the goodwill he had garnered from the north, east, south and west followed him into politics.

‘’I recall another instance when the family of the late Gen Adekunle Fajuyi had issues with their home, the news got to Asiwaju, who simply made a call and a design was shown him by an architect. In no time, a house was built and donated to the widow of the late general. That is how far Asiwaju's generousity can go in touching lives.

A workaholic

The revered oxford dictionary describes a workaholic as a person who compulsively works hard and for long hours. That exactly is Asiwaju for you. He thrives on working, while others are sleeping. All he has achieved in life are through working while others sleep. He would be in meetings till dawn. He  once told us that to be great we must use the middle of the nights very well.

No religious discrimination

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu understands perfectly well what a lot of other people try to do, but find very hard to do. He is a Muslim but he does not discriminate based on religion. His wife Senator Remi Tinubu attends church. He does not help based on religion but on ability. He has supported many Christians and assisted Christian related faith-based charity courses the same way he does to Muslim ones. We must learn from him here

Apart from all these, Asiwaju also enjoys  reading,  watching soccer, mentoring young ones and he loves to support young people who are moving from one level to the next. However, such persons must be able to convince him that they are ambitious and are not mere flight-by-night people.

Happy Birthday Leader
